Cashualties of “Mission Accomplished”

April 30th, 2007 by JrMint

Okay so its been awhile for a posting, I’ve been busy as hell. Trying to pack this place up and get it ready for market (yes I know the market sucks now, but I don’t have time to explain), plus the new commercial real estate investment company I’m in…oh and my real job and my family and the list continues…

So instead of an update I wanted to leave a picture that I personally love and is one of my favorites in history…and if you click this picture you will end up on a Chicago Tribune article. If you read the first paragraph of the article, you’ll know exactly why I linked it off of this picture.

Then after reading that article head over here for more good information.

Okay now that you are done with all that put on some Johnny Cash The Man in Black and note that he refers to Vietnam, but Iraq…whats the difference:

“”I wear the black in mourning for the lives that could have been / Each week we lose a hundred fine young men.” – The Man in Black

Ain’t it tasty…

What I think of this last week? Right here baby:

Foamy Rules

Spent the whole week in a major outage at work. While the outage sucked it wouldn’t have been so painful if there wasn’t so much stupid political nonesense in that place. Hey I have an idea, how about we all work together to just fix stuff and make the business run…leave your emotions and opinions at home where they belong.

Here’s a tasty treat picture for those who understand Systems. This was the load on our Database server this week during the outage.

Anyway, I’ll write some more this weekend after all the maintenance windows, let you know if i have a pink slip by then. Maybe do some other updates since I haven’t updated for awhile…i suck!
