Well, i’ve found that ethan has become quite creative at the whole cuisine thing. Although many times I refuse to taste his culinary delights but he seems to always eat what he comes up with.
Last week it was Peanut Butter and BBQ Sauce sandwich. Now this one i didn’t try but i did make it for him. He ate most of it, i think it seemed like a good idea but wasn’t quite what he expected. Past meals include peanut butter covered cinnamon waffles with syrup, which is actually quite good but very rich…he loves it. Another previous breakfast was one we still make. You make a normal batch of pancake batter, then as you make the cakes you dump in Hershey Cinnamon chips…oh man quite tasty. Cinnamon chips (btw) are only available for about 1 month of the year during the christmas baking season…so pick ‘em up then and freeze them, they last forever in the freezer.
Anyway the latest craze I had to post because it sounds weird, but it really is very tasty…so much so that you almost crave it a few days later. Grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich. Make yourself up a normal peanut butter and jelly sandwich (I highly recommend the potato bread for this), then cover one side with butter (just like for a grilled cheese) and toss it in a med-high fry pan butter side down. While that side is cooking butter the other side. Finish it off just like grilled cheese browning both sides to a crispy brown. Cut into triangle shapes and suck it down…amazingly tasty.
Well, I’ll post any other crazy food ideas he comes up with. He seems to come up with something every couple weeks…at least he’s trying new things. LOL
