Katy Perry Acoustic
June 2nd, 2009 by LodocI get a lot of side shit for the fact that I like Katy Perrys’ music. Granted I’m not really into the whole POP scene or even much of the hip hop and for the most part loathe top 40 stuff. However her lyrics in her songs were intriguing to me and I found myself listening more and more to her new album. Then I read about how she writes her music and is an actual, you know, musician…As opposed to a pretty face that sings somebody else’s songs and has a million dollar choreographer.
Anyway, even though her music is pop i find her very talented, which is proved to me in this video of her singing live on a radio show. She actually plays acoustic guitar, and well. I’ve also seen her in multitude of live performances and she doesn’t lip sync and always has her band playing live with her, which is extra rare in POP music in which the band is never there or can’t reproduce live the music recorded in the studio.
